DESCRIPTION

The FB-08BT is an indoor subwoofer system featuring a high-performance 20 cm (8") driver. An integrated crossover network simplifies system configuration, allowing seamless integration with F-03/05 series speakers without the need for additional processors. This delivers powerful bass reproduction for a wide range of applications. The FB-08BT offers flexible installation options, supporting both low and high impedance connections. Optional mounting brackets are available for secure wall or ceiling mounting.

The subwoofer shall be a bass-reflex type enclosure suitable for ceiling or wall mounting. The low-frequency driver shall be a 20 cm (8") cone-type, and the subwoofer shall have a rated noise power handling capacity of 120 W (8 Ω) and a continuous program power capacity of 240 W (8 Ω). The rated input for the subwoofer shall be 120 W when connected to 100 V or 70 V line systems. The subwoofer shall offer multiple tap settings, including 83 Ω (120 W) and 167 Ω (60 W) for the 100 V line, and 50 Ω (100 W), 83 Ω (60 W), and 167 Ω (30 W) for the 70 V line. The impedance shall be 8 Ω for direct connection.

The subwoofer shall have a sensitivity of 84 dB at 1 W, measured at 1 m distance in a free sound field, and 90 dB at 1 W in a 1/2 free sound field. The frequency response of the subwoofer shall range from 45 Hz to 300 Hz, with a -10 dB variance in a 1/2 free sound field. The crossover frequency shall be integrated to simplify system configuration.

The enclosure shall be constructed of MDF and finished in either black or white. The grille shall be made of surface treated steel plate and finished to match the enclosure color. The subwoofer shall be equipped with M4 screw terminals for input connection.

The subwoofer shall be designed for indoor installation and be capable of operating in a temperature range from -10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F). The overall dimensions of the subwoofer shall be 200 mm (W) x 350 mm (H) x 400 mm (D) (7.87" x 13.78" x 15.75"), and the weight shall be 16 kg (35.27 lbs.).
