Klark Teknik
Klark Teknik is a professional signal processing and audio equipment design and development business. The firm was formed in 1974 by brothers Terence and Phillip Clarke in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, UK. It won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in 1986 for developing a variety of new types of audio equipment. Music Group currently owns the company. With only 15 personnel, the company had previously operated out of an old Nissen hut in a rear corner of the Summerfield MOD solid fuel rocket motor plant. In 1985, Klark Teknik PLC was founded. The next year, Klark Teknik purchased DDA, a studio mixing firm based in Hounslow, and relocated the manufacture to Kidderminster. The firm expanded its product line by creating active studio monitors under the “Klark Acoustic” brand
