Scope

Our client (a leading chain of Super/Hypermarkets) curated a week long event to celebrate their official anniversary across their entire UAE chain. The event was open to all walk-in customers and was held simultaneously across 30 super/hypermarket locations across the UAE ranging from stores as small as 300 sq mts to massive spaces as big as 13000 sq mts.

Objective

Our primary objective was to ensure Product solutions across all 30 of these locations in time for the mega event. The products that were needed for this event ranged from Wireless microphones to Analog Mixers to Portable Public Address Speaker Systems as well as compatible cables to connect these products in order for them to be functional.

Solution

We began our process by suggesting our client the recommended products for procurement which was followed by a round of budget approvals. We then conducted a beta testing of the finalized products and troubleshooted them for any technical issues at their sites. Post troubleshooting the approved list of products, we set out to procure these from the brands. Our quest for product procurement also involved quick alternative suggestions of products that were sold out in that particular week. In some cases we even provided alternatives or replacements for their existing systems that were not functional.

Once we locked onto the available products we dispatched these products to these 30 locations across the UAE and then went on the final stage of our process. We made 20 on-site visits as well as 10 virtual visits to install these product solutions and troubleshoot any unforeseen issues. We also trained our client's retail staff to be well prepped for the event as operating these products was a new learning for most of them.

Challenges

We braved a few challenges in the process as all of the installations across 30 of these locations was needed to met within a week. There was no blanket solution for all locations and we had to deal with each store independently. We also had to ensure that the installation work was only done during the graveyard shift as the shops needed to remain accessible to the high footfall of customers during the day.

Outcome

The project turned out to be successful, as the service, support and necessary troubleshooting provided was well received. We managed a channel of constant communication with our client's Maintenance managers, Facility managers and some Store managers at these locations. This consistent communication is what ensured the efficiency in our execution of this project solution.
