They were mainly all discrete transistor designs as op-amps at the time were very high cost. The discrete circuitry gave the modules a very distinctive sound and were used by artists like Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, Tangerine Dream and so many more, giving us some of the greatest records we’ve ever heard. Modular synths were a landmark development in electronic music and today, it’s about to get better.SPECIFICATIONS Trigger Input Type 3.5 mm jack, DC coupled Impedance 5 kΩ, unbalanced Maximum input level +10 V Trigger operation Active low, hold low until release Envelope Output Type 3.5 mm jack, DC coupled Impedance > 200 Ω, unbalanced Maximum output range 0 V to +6 V DC Controls T1 (Attack) 2 ms - 10 s T2 (Decay) 2 ms - 10 s T3 (Release) 2 ms - 10 s E sus (Sustain) 0 V to +5.5 V DC Power Power supply Eurorack Current draw 30 mA (+12 V), 30 mA (-12 V) Physical Dimensions 35 x 40 x 129 mm (1.4 x 1.6 x 5.1") Rack units 8 HP Weight 0.09 kg (0.2 lbs)
