They were mainly all discrete transistor designs as op-amps at the time were very high cost. The discrete circuitry gave the modules a very distinctive sound and were used by artists like Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, Tangerine Dream and so many more, giving us some of the greatest records we’ve ever heard. Modular synths were a landmark development in electronic music and today, it’s about to get better.SPECIFICATIONS Trigger Inputs Type 3.5 mm jack, DC coupled Impedance 9 kΩ, unbalanced Maximum input level +11 V Trigger operation Active low, hold low until delay time is completed Trigger Outputs Type 3.5 mm jack, DC coupled Impedance 20 Ω to ground when enabled, unbalanced Maximum output level +11 V Trigger operation Active low Controls Delay time 2 ms - 10 s Coupling mode Off, parallel, series Power Power supply Eurorack Current draw 6 mA (+12 V), 16 mA (-12 V) Physical Dimensions 38 x 40 x 129 mm (1.5 x 1.6 x 5.1") Rack units 8 HP Weight 0.1 kg (0.22 lbs)
