Six active line array speakers, two subwoofers and a full flying rig, supplied and commissioned for Papa City Restaurant and Cafe in Business Bay.
The system went into the Atrium space on Level 3 of Al Habtoor City in Business Bay, the venue's dining and bar area. The order covers a complete line array system: six Wharfedale WLA210A active line array speakers, two Wharfedale WLA210SUBA active subwoofers, four WLA210X common fly frames to rig the array, and installation, testing and commissioning carried out on site.
Each WLA210A is a self-powered, active cabinet built around dual 10-inch drivers rated at 800W continuous, the kind of specification meant to be deployed as a hung array rather than a handful of standalone boxes, stacking several cabinets vertically to spread even coverage across a room without needing speakers dotted around the space. Six units give Papa City enough elements to build out a proper line array rather than a minimal two or three box setups.
The two WLA210SUBA subwoofers add the low end the line array cabinets alone would not reach, each rated at 2x15 inch drivers and 2000W RMS. Subwoofers at this specification are typically paired directly with a line array of this size to keep the low frequency output consistent with the coverage the main array is already delivering.
The four WLA210X common fly frames are rigging hardware, built to suspend the line array cabinets overhead rather than have them sit on stands or the floor. That is a common choice in restaurant and hospitality spaces specifically, where floor space, sightlines and the look of the room all matter as much as the coverage itself.
The order also includes a separate installation, testing, and commissioning charge, meaning Techniline handled the full setup and verification of the system on site rather than supplying equipment alone. A further line for repairs and installation appears on the invoice under a separate heading, it isn't clear from the document alone whether that covers supplementary work on this same system or a separate job, worth checking with whoever raised the invoice.
