Midas
Since the early 1970s, Midas has been designing and producing audio consoles. It later became a part of the Telex corporation. When Telex Communications was bought by the Bosch group in January 2006, Midas consoles became part of the "Bosch Communications Systems" business segment. Midas left Bosch in February 2010 and is currently affiliated with Music Tribe. Midas consoles are now in use by audio professionals all around the globe, mostly in the live sound industry. Front of House (FOH) and monitor console roles are among the applications for these boards. A couple of years later, Jeff was motivated to look at how the crude concert sound equipment of the time could be improved upon, and he set out to design a comprehensive modular PA system that included speakers, amplifiers, and mixers.
